Women's Hoops extends win streak to 11

Junior center Hannah Spaulding had 24 points and seven rebounds as No. 10-ranked St. Thomas pulled away to a 70-42 defeat of Macalester in Wednesday night's MIAC women's basketball clash on the Scots' floor. Lucia Renikoff had 13 points, and Kaia Porter and Maddie Wolkow each scored nine.
The Tommies (18-2 overall, 13-0 MIAC) have won 26 in a row on the road, 47 in a row against conference opponents, and 11 consecutive games this season.
St. Thomas, which had an 11-0 fourth quarter run, made nine 3-point baskets and posted a 41-24 rebounding advantage.
The Toms play Saturday at St. Catherine.
