Sophomore Karl Wachter placed fourth out of 78 finishers to lead Tommie Men's Cross Country at Friday night's MSU Moorhead Twilight. Wachter ran his first race of 2017 and clocked 18:53 for the 6,000-meter course.
The Tommies placed third of six teams with 78 points. Division II MSU Moorhead (47) and University of Mary (49) placed 1-2.
Freshman Carl Kozlowski (13th, 19:18), Andrew Fritz (18th, 19:27), Spencer Urick (22nd, 19:42), Parker Rosenau (23rd, 19:44), Adam Berkowitz (34th, 20:05) and George McGivern (46th, 20:39) rounded out the St. Thomas lineup.
