Sammy Hogan got a save and a five-inning pitching win and Dana Connelly's three-run double was the big blow in game one as No. 25-ranked Tommie Softball took two road wins Saturday over St. Olaf in Northfield.
UST won 4-2, and then won 10-1 in five innings via the run rule.
Game-one starter Jessica Eppenberger struck out four and allowed two runs in five innings. Hogan came on to close out the game and retired six of the seven she faced in relief and struck out two.
Megan Bush went 3-for-3 with three runs scored in game two, and Melissa Barry added two hits.
The Toms are home Sunday for a 1 p.m. twinbill against Augsburg.
