Whitney Lloyd had 12 kills and served up the final eight points of the match as Tommie Volleyball scored a 3-2 road win over No. 22-ranked Northwestern-St. Paul in non-conference play Friday night.
UST won 25-23, 17-25, 19-25, 25-19 15-10. The Tommies (13-4) have won nine in a row since a four-set loss to Northwestern on Sept. 10 at the Augsburg tournament.
The Eagles (13-2) led 10-7 in the fifth set but Brooke Reichart had three kills to help the Toms build a match-winning 8-0 run.
Lloyd added five blocks and hit .306. Reichart had 12 kills and hit .323. Julia Spacek added nine kills and eight blocks. Ellie Meyer had 31 digs. Katharine Mallak chipped in 23 assists and 10 digs. Taylor Lewis had 21 digs and seven kills. Ellie Etzell had eight kills.
The Tommies will play a 5 p.m. home match Saturday against Gustavus.
