Junior guard Katie Stone had a season-high 16 points and the No. 3-ranked Tommies started fast en route to Wednesday night's 62-49 victory over Gustavus in MIAC women's basketball play in St. Peter.

The Tommies (18-0 overall, 11-0 MIAC) retained their three-game lead atop the conference standings with seven games to go. St. Thomas' 10-0 road record is tied for the best in all levels of NCAA basketball, men or women.

St. Thomas broke to leads of 11-1 and 30-6 before the Gusties pulled within 36-23 at halftime. Gustavus never got closer than 11 in the second half.

UST senior Jenna Dockter had 14 points and senior Maggie Weiers contributed nine points, 13 rebounds and three assists.

St. Thomas has limited 11 of its last 12 opponents to 50 or less points.
