Lewis sharp, Volleyball win streak hits nine

No. 17-ranked Tommie Volleyball pushed its season win streak to nine with Saturday's 3-1 conference victory at Gustavus. The Tommies (13-4 overall, 3-0 MIAC) won 25-16, 24-26, 25-11, 25-17.
Sophomore Taylor Lewis had a career-best 17 kills, hit .317, and added eight digs for the Tommies, who hit .276.
Jill Greenfield added 12 kills and 12 digs; Whitney Abrahamson chipped in 20 digs; and Maddie Reese had 24 assists.
St. Thomas is home Wednesday to face St. Catherine at 7 p.m.
