Men's Hoops rolls, stays alone in MIAC lead

Senior Zach Riedeman had 15 points and eight rebounds in only 21 minutes and the No. 14-ranked Tommies ran their home-court win streak to 31 with Saturday's 92-59 defeat of St. Mary's in men's basketball play at Schoenecker Arena.
The Tommies (18-3 overall, 15-1 MIAC) have won six in a row and stayed one game ahead of second-place St. Olaf. Those teams play Wednesday night in Northfield.
UST used an early 15-0 run for a 19-4 lead. The Toms had 14 players score points, shot 55 percent from the floor, and had only five turnovers. Dylan Stewart had 12 points and Taylor Montero added 11 points.
Ronnie Ortiz had 14 points and Bakari Collins added 10, both off the bench, for the Cardinals.
