M. Soccer gets 3-0 shutout win, stays in lead

The brothers Bernhardt, freshman Ryan and junior Alex, scored goals and keeper Mitchell Wolff led a shutout and improved to 5-0-1 on the season as St. Thomas men's soccer scored a 3-0 road victory over Concordia Tuesday in Moorhead.
Ryan Bernhardt scored in the 20th minute and Macalister Enderson converted a penalty kick in the 44th minute for the Tommies (6-2-2 overall, 3-0 MIAC). Alex Bernhardt scored in the 81st minute, assisted by Enderson.
UST stayed in the conference lead at 3-0.
"It's not easy to come up here and get a result," said UST coach Jon Lowery. "The guys managed the game very well against a very hard-working opponent. We're continuing to refine our game and we look forward to improving as we get ready for Saturday at Hamline."
Concordia (4-5, 1-3) had a three-game home win streak snapped. UST had a 13-8 advantage in shots and a 6-3 edge in corners.
St. Thomas plays Saturday at Hamline.
