The St. Thomas volleyball team (8-1 overall, 1-0 MIAC) held off Gustavus (5-4, 0-1) in Wednesday night's hard-fought 3-0 road win in St. Peter. The No. 8-ranked Tommies won 25-23, 25-24, 25-23.
Paige Brimeyer had 10 kills and hit .523. Sarah Kosbab had 22 assists and two aces. Jill Greenfield had 10 digs and seven kills. Sara Atkinson had seven kills. Kaiti Wachter had 12 digs.
St. Thomas plays four matches this Friday and Saturday in the UW-River Falls tournament.
