Nationally-ranked Carleton scored an 8-1 win over St. Thomas Friday in women's tennis play in Northfield.
Kara Lefsrud won at third singles for the Tommies (10-6 overall, 6-3 MIAC). Anna Wright lost in three sets at six singles.
UST has another tough test Saturday with a 4 p.m. match at Gustavus.
