St. Thomas outshot Bethel, 24-10, and had a 5-2 advanatge in corner kicks.
"We did well today and our first 15 minutes set the tone for a great effort," said UST coach Jon Lowery. "We were hungry, and it showed in all areas of our game. Securing a playoff spot and finishing the MIAC regular season at 7-2-1 is a great accomplishment. We look forward to the MIAC semifinal, a great step for our program."
