Volleyball tops Cobbers 3-0, runs winning streak to 14

Kelly Foley had 13 kills and four blocks to lead No. 7-ranked St. Thomas (19-1 overall, 6-0 MIAC) to a 3-0 win over second-place Concordia-Moorhead (6-8, 4-2) in Tuesday night conference volleyball play at UST's Schoenecker Arena.
UST rallied to win game one with the final six points of the set, 25-21, and closed out the match with 25-20, 25-16 wins.
St. Thomas has a 1.5-match lead over St. Ben's (4-1) at the halfway point of the MIAC season. UST ran its season win streak to 14 and its home-court victory streak to 22.
Paige Brimeyer hit .455 with 10 kills and three blocks. Jill Greenfield added 18 digs; Kaiti Wachter had 23 digs; and Katie Maher had 24 assists and nine digs.
Kynndal Ross had nine kills and Olivia Wagensteen added eight for the Cobbers.
The Tommies play four matches this weekend at the Wartburg (Iowa) tournament including a match against No. 15-ranked Wartburg.
