Baseball falls 4-2 on road to No. 9-ranked Saints

The St. Thomas baseball team dropped a 4-2 non-conference decision Monday in Duluth to No. 9-ranked St. Scholastica.
The Tommies (15-14) had a seven-game win streak halted. The Saints (23-4) have won nine in a row.
Drew Cremisino and Tim Kahle each had two hits in the Toms' six-hi8t attack. John Licht allowed all four rus in his 6 1-3 innings on the mound. CSS's Joe Link had three hits to lead a nine-hit attack. Winning pitcher Matt Lewis allowed no runs, two hits and one walk over the last five innings.
The Tommies are scheduled to play a pair of Tuesday MIAC games in Moorhead against against the Concordia Cobbers.
