Men's Hockey lead slips away in 3-2 road loss

Ben Payne's power-play goal 4:53 into the final period snapped a 2-2 tie and lifted host Concordia to a 3-2 win over St. Thomas in Friday night's men's hockey game in Moorhead.
St. Thomas (6-3-1 overall, 4-1 MIAC) took a 2-0 lead in the first 16:00 but the Cobbers responded with the game's final three goals. UST outshot the Cobbers 28-19.
Travis Baker and Brandon Bahnemann had goals for UST.
The teams play again Saturday at 2 p.m. in Moorhead.
