Women's Hoops nets 28-point win over Scots

Freshman Maggie Weiers scored 13 points and the Tommie women's basketball team shot 54% from the floor in Wednesday night's 77-49 win at Macalester.
The Tommiies (2-2 overall, 1-0 MIAC), playing their first game in 13 days, led by 14 at halftime then used a 20-1 run early in the second half to push the lead to 27 points.
Rachel Booth had 11 points and eight rebounds and Kellie Ring scored 11.
The Toms play Saturday at Bethel.
