Men's Soccer gets 1-1 tie at St. Scholastica

The St. Thomas men's soccer team played to a 1-1 tie Wednesday afternoon in Duluth against unbeaten St. Scholastica. The Tommies (4-3-1) have played overtime in four of their eight games.
The Saints (5-0-1) took as 1-0 lead with a goal in the 29th minute. UST freshman Josh Pozner tied the game with a goal in the 48th minute, assisted by Alex Daley.
In the second half, the Toms outshot CSS 5-1 and had a 4-0 advantage in corner kicks. Carlos Castelan and Alex Benson combined in goal for UST.
St. Thomas plays Saturday at Bethel.
