Women's Tennis goes 1-1 on weekend, now 6-2

The St. Thomas women's tennis team split two matches over the weekend to move to 6-2 on the season and 5-1 in the MIAC. The Toms lost 5-4 to Carleton on Saturday, but won 8-1 on Sunday vs. St. Mary's.
On Saturday, the Toms pulled out two close singles wins but fell one point short.
In Sunday's win over the Cardinals, UST won three close matches to pull away.
Madeline Gail went 2-0 in both singles and doubles on the weekend.
UST is scheduled to play St. Olaf next Friday in Owatonna.
