St. Thomas had its men's soccer season end with Wednesday's 3-0 loss to top-seed Carleton in an MIAC playoff game in Northfield.
The Tommies (10-7-2) are winless in their last six games with Carleton (0-4-2) and have been outsocred 13-3 in those contests.
Carleton (15-4), which has won the conference championship the last three seasons, will host Saturday's finals and play the winner of tonight's St. Olaf at Macalester game.
Three weeks ago, UST lost 1-0 to the Knights on a breakaway goal in the last 15 seconds of the second overtime, but Wednesday's game was controlled by Carleton. UST had just two corner kicks to five for CC, and two shots on goal to eight for the winners.
Carleton scored in the 25th minute on a penalty kick converted by Ross Hamilton. They iced the win with goals in the 64th minute by Wes Elfman and in the 68th minute by Ryan Cammarota.
