Volleyball finishes 3-1 in LaCrosse tourney

The St. Thomas volleyball team won both Saturday matches and finished 3-1 in the two-day UW-LaCrosse tournament. UST had two players on the All-Tournament team -- sophomore setter Emily Foster and senior DS Katie Kremer.
On Saturday, UST topped Viterbo, 25-23, 25-14, 26-24, and cruised past Fontbonne, 28-8, 25-7, 25-13.
On Friday, the Tommies topped Maryville (Mo.), 25-14, 25-15, 25-13, but lost to UW-LaCrosse, 25-21, 20-25, 25-20, 25-21. The host Eagles were an NCAA playoff qualifier last season.
No. 8-ranked UST playing all weekend without senior All-American Katie McCaffrey, who is back in Colorado for a wedding.
