Softball wins twice Wednesday, now 13-1

The No. 4-ranked St. Thomas softball bounced back with two victories Wednesday at the Sun West Tournament in Orange, Calif. The Tommies rallied from a 5-0 deficit to to Azusa Pacific, 9-5, then blanked Puget Sound 3-0.
Marta Radcliffe threw a three-hit shutout with no walks in game two for St. Thomas (13-1).
Alison Wright went 5-for-8 on the day, and Kaitlyn Wightman and Morgan Betker each had four hits. Colleen Owen had three hits on the day, including a three-run homer vs. Azusa.
The Tommies face Williams and Tufts on Thursday.
