Women's Hockey holds off Cobbers, 2-1

Freshman Kristen Elliott stopped 31 of 32 shots in her fourth collegaite start and senior Ashley Reinhardt surpassed 100 career points with a tying goal and assist as the host Tommies (14-4 overall, 8-3 MIAC) edged the Cobbers (6-8-2, 6-3-2) in MIAC women's hockey play Friday night in Mendota Heights.
Marie Omann scored the go-ahead goal late in the first period.
The teams play again Saturday in Mendota Heights (2 p.m.).
