Men's Soccer falls 2-0 at Carleton to end season

The St. Thomas men's soccer team had its season end Tuesday with a 2-0 loss at top-seed Carleton in the MIAC playoff semifinals.
The Knights (16-1-2) scored in the ninth and 11th minutes to take control early. The Tommies (12-6-1) , who played without injured defender Kyle Mader, were outshot in shots on goal 8-4 as it lost its last three games of the season.
Carleton will face third-seed Augsburg in Saturday's finals. The Auggies scored three second-half goals to beat Gustavus, 3-0.
