NCAA shootout loss ends season for Women's Soccer

The 12th-ranked Tommie women's soccer team saw its season end in a shootout loss Saturday after a 1-1 tie against Loras in the NCAA regional playoffs in Stevens Point, Wis. The Duhawks made all four shots in the tie-breaker to win 4-1.
The Tommies (14-1-5) outshot Loras 10-2 in corner kicks and 10-7 in shots on goal. Abie Krause scored in the 32nd minute (assisted by Courtney Walior) for a 1-0 lead. The Duhawks' Holly Wilson scored to tie the game in the 75th minute.
Amanda Domeier had six saves in goal for UST.
Loras (14-5-3) advances to Sunday's regional final against the host Pointers, who won 6-0 over Edgewood.
