Volleyball gets four-set win at Bethel

The No. 5-ranked Tommie volleyball team shook off a first-set loss and posted a four-set win at Bethel in MIAC play Wednesday night in Arden Hills. The Tommies won 20-25, 25-14, 25-14, 25-18.
St. Thomas (18-1 overall, 6-0 MIAC) ran its season win streak to 17 and its conference win streak to 20. They kept pace atop the MIAC standings with St. Ben's (6-0), a 3-1 winner at Hamline.
Katie McCaffrey had 12 kills and six blocks; Kyley Crotty had 13 kills and 11 digs; Jill Osborne had 10 kills; Alesha Nelson had 12 kills and hit .375; Carlie Waibel had five blocks, eight digs and five kills; Emily Foster had 51 assists and 27 digs; DeJurnett Prioleau had three blocks, six kills and hit .400; and Katie Kremer had 18 digs.
St. Thomas plays four matches this weekend at home in the Iowa-Minnesota Border Battle.
