The St. Thomas men's soccer team allowed a goal in the 60th minute and fell 1-0 Saturday at St. Mary's. The Cardinals ended a 22-game MAC winless streak.
UST (12-4-1, 6-2-1) still secured an MIAC playoff berth as St. John's had a tie and Macalester had a loss, its third in four seasons.
After a scoreless first half, UST's Ben Dellaria and Henry Ndawula both hit the crossbar on back-to-back shots in the 55th minute.
The Toms close the regular season Saturday at Gustavus.
