Senior guard Bryan Schnettler sank 19 points and surpassed 300 collegiate 3-point baskets as host St. Thomas scored a 77-57 victory over Concordia-Moorhead in MIAC men's basketball play Saturday at UST's Schoenecker Arena.

Senior center Isaac Rosefelt added 19 points, 11 rebounds and four blocks for the first-place Tommies (21-3 overall, 17-2 MIAC). Junior forward Lonnie Robinson had 10 points, five assists and three steals, and senior point guard Andrew Dwyer had 10 points after missing the previous game with an injury.

St. Thomas ran its home conference win streak to 16 and moved into a half-game lead over idle St. John's atop the MIAC standings. The Toms are off Wednesday when the Johnnies host ninth-place Hamline, then St. Thomas and St. John's play Feb. 17 at UST with the conference championship and playoff top-seed on the line.

Junior forward Luke Linz had 19 points and 11 rebounds for the Cobbers (3-20, 3-14), who had 19 turnovers and shot just 39%. Eric Johnson added 14 points.

Rosefelt had two dunks and two blocks in the first 90 seconds as St. Thomas went on to build a 24-8 lead. The Cobbers trailed 38-28 at halftime and never pulled closer in the second half.

Schnettler was 3-of-7 from 3-point range and now has 301 threes in 103 college games, including 285 in three seasons at St. Thomas and 16 from his freshman season at UW-Superior.
