Junior Adam Davis scored two power-play goals and sophomore Tyler Chestnut had a shutout in goal as the visiting Tommies (2-0) scored a 3-0 win over the Yellow Jackets (0-1-1) in non-conference men's hockey play Saturday night in Superior, Wis.
Davis, a transfer from Minnesota-Duluth, scored four goals in two victories on the weekend.
Chestnut allowed just two goalsd in 120 minutes on the weekend. The transfer from Holy Cross stopped 21 of 23 shots in Friday's 3-2 win at St. Scholastica.
The Tommies open their home season Nov. 9 vs. UW-Stevens Point.
