Women's Soccer loses 3-0 to No. 6-ranked UWEC

Becky Westbrock scored in the sixth minute and No. 6-ranked UW-Eau Claire went on to post a 3-0 win over host St. Thomas in non-conference women's soccer play in St. Paul.

Westbrook finished with a goal and an assist for the Blugolds (17-2), who recorded their 12th shutout of the season and beat UST (7-7-2) by the same 3-0 margin for the second year in a row. Eau Claire also tallied goals in the 34th and 64th minutes.

St. Thomas plays two conference road games to close the regular season -- Wednesday at St. Benedict and Saturday at Augsburg. The Toms can reach the four-team conference playoffs with two wins and a Wednesday loss by Augsburg.
