First-team All-America linebacker by D3Football.com and West Region Defensive Player of the Year as a senior in 2011, after he recorded 19 tackles for loss in 14 games as an inside linebacker... helped 2011 team reach national semifinals and break school record with 13 wins... helped 2010 team reach national quarterfinals... his final two teams post 25-2 record including two victories over St. John's that ended a 12-game losing streak in the series and notched the Toms' first win in Collegeville since 1986... recorded 19 tackles for loss in 14 games as an inside linebacker... twice selected All-MIAC... career spanned 2007-2011 due to 2009 season-ending injury... over his 48 career games he recorded 203 solo tackles 169 assisted tackles (372 total), 15 sacks, three interceptions, 12 pass break-ups, two fumble recoveries and three blocked kicks... his defensive coordinator Wallie Kuchinski called him the most "complete" player he's coached... first Tommie defensive player inducted in last 20 years.
