Tom Batta graduated from the University of St. Thomas with a BA in 1991. At St. Thomas, Batta was a three-time All-MIAC player who helped the University win three conference crowns. Batta scored 1,400 career points, and still ranks 12th on the program's career list among players with points scored only at St. Thomas. He was a member of the NCAA Division III All-Star team.
