Molly Hayden graduated from the University of St. Thomas with a BA in 2001. During her time at St. Thomas, she received Kodak Honorable Mention All-American in 1998-99, and was named Kodak All-American and Conference MVP as a senior in 1999-2000. She totaled 903 points and scored in double figures in 52 of her 56 games at St. Thomas. Hayden led the team to a 50-6 record in her two Tommie seasons, and led the team to an NCAA Final Four trip, MIAC title, and a 26-game win streak as a senior, averaging 17.2 points per game in her seven career NCAA playoff games.
