Kirsten Vipond Slinde

Kirsten Vipond Slinde graduated from the University of St. Thomas with a BA in 1998. As a student, Vipond Slinde was a Kodak All-American and MIAC Player of the Year in 1997-98. She was also Honorable Mention Kodak All-American as a sophomore and a junior. She was named the Midwest Sports Channel's NCAA Division III Women's Athlete of the Year in 1998. Vipond Slinde broke the NCAA Division III field goal percentage record (.714) as a senior. She played on two Division III Final Four squads and three MIAC title teams. In her last three seasons, she helped the Tommies achieve a 61-1 MIAC record and an 80-7 overall record. She still ranks second in St. Thomas career scoring (1,700) and rebounds (724).
