Kathryn Ostrom Karel

Kathryn "Taffy" Ostrom Karel graduated from the University of St. Thomas with a BA in 1982. Over her career, she amassed 1,136 points in three seasons. She was named to the AIAW All-Tournament team in 1982, and was a team captain as a senior. Ostrom Karel helped the Tommies post a 55-25 record over her three seasons, and graduated as a school career leader in points and rebounds. She joined Deb Thometz as one of the first women inducted into the St. Thomas Athletics Hall of Fame.
