Jenny Hintz graduated from the University of St. Thomas with a BA in 1988. She was a two-time NCAA runner up and a three-time All-American in cross country. She was voted one of the top-10 NCAA Division III cross country runner of all time on the 20-year team. Hintz set the Tommies' cross country record for the fastest 5,000 meter time and helped the Tommies claim two national titels and one runner-up finish in cross country, overcoming the injuries that sidelined her for the 1984 and 1985 seasons.
