Tanner Westrum joined the St. Thomas football coaching staff in June 2024, as an offensive quality control specialist and will assist the offensive line. This will be his first season with the Tommies.

Westrum previously served as a recruiting undergraduate assistant at the University of Iowa last season. While with the Hawkeyes, Westrum also assisted the Iowa coaching staff with team camp operations. 

Westrum graduated from the University of Iowa with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with endorsements in Reading & Coaching. 

Westrum is from Savage, Minnesota and is a 2020 graduate of Burnsville High School.
