Nick Balmanno joined the St. Thomas Athletic Department in August 2024 as the Assistant Director of Ticket Operations.
Balmanno comes to the Tommies after spending the past year and a half as premium experience ticket coordinator with Oak View Group, providing ticket services to Old Dominion University. Prior to that, he spent 10 months as a premium seating intern for the Green Bay Packers, assisting with service for 150+ suite accounts and 1,000+ club seat accounts.
While attending the University of Minnesota from 2019-22, he served in various roles in athletics including athletics communications and softball operations intern at Anoka-Ramsey Community College, flex team member at Minnesota Wild, lead women's hockey marketing intern at the University of Minnesota, social media/marketing intern with the US Premier Hockey League's Minnesota Moose, game operations intern at Minneapolis City SC, and event security at Whelan Security.
Balmanno graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2022 with a bachelor of science in sport management and attained an associate of arts from Anoka-Ramsey Community College as a high school senior.
