Nathan Casanova joined the Tommies as the staff Videographer for Athletics in August of 2022 and was promoted to Associate Director of Creative Video in August 2025.
Casanova provides Videography services, as well as video editing and production for Athletics as a whole, covering all Tommie Sports.
Most recently, Casanova served as a production assistant with Bally Sports North and Wisconsin, and Gopher Digital Productions at the University of Minnesota, providing live production assisting and editing for Gopher game-day events, as well as pregame and post-game shows for Bally Sports.
Prior to that, Casanovaspent three years as a student intern with the Bulldog Productions Department for Athletics at the University of Minnesota Duluth. After graduating from UMD in 2020 with Bachelor’s in Marketing and German Studies, he served as the Bulldog Productions Coordinator with Bulldog Athletics for the 2020-21 season. Working with the assistant athletics director of Marketing, he helped oversee live production efforts for the Bulldogs, as well as providing Videography services including game-day videography and producing video content for social media platforms.
A Twin Cities native, Casanova first got involved in sports video during his time at Prior Lake High School providing live production assistance at Laker Sports events.
