Matt Paulus joined St. Thomas in February 2026 as Ice Technician for the Lee & Penny Anderson Arena.

Paulus joins the Tommies after spending time at various Twin Cities ice arena and facilities throughout his career.

Before beginning his career in ice arena operations, Paulus was a member of the Army Reserves and National Guard for 10 years.
