Grant Moerke joined St. Thomas Athletics in August 2026 as the Assistant Director of Ticket Operations and Sales, bringing experience in collegiate and professional sports ticketing, sales and premium guest services.
Moerke returns to St. Thomas after previously serving as a Ticket Office Student Assistant from 2024-25. In that role, he sold game-day tickets, assisted students with accessing tickets for Tommie sporting events, distributed tickets to recruits, team families and professional scouts, and utilized Paciolan ticketing software.
Prior to returning to St. Thomas, Moerke spent three years with the Minnesota Timberwolves, most recently serving as an Account Executive in Business Development. He previously worked as a Premium Seating Game Night Assistant, providing service to premium guests and season ticket holders while supporting premium seating operations, sales and service activations.
Moerke also gained ticket sales experience with the 3M Open, where he generated revenue through group ticket and premium hospitality sales. He previously served as a Ticket Services Intern with the event, gaining experience with Ticketmaster Archtics and supporting ticket fulfillment, sales and game-day operations.
Before beginning his career in sports, Moerke served in the U.S. Army as a Cavalry Scout and Team Leader from 2017-21, where he supervised personnel and was responsible for the maintenance and safe operation of approximately $3 million in equipment.
