Francine Hoffman, MS, RD, LD, CSSD, CSCS is a registered and licensed dietitian with a background in sports nutrition, clinical care, and administration and joined the St. Thomas Athletics department in July 2026.
Hoffman comes to St. Thomas from the University of Idaho, where she served as Associate Athletic Director for Performance Nutrition. In that role, she developed and directed the department's first comprehensive performance nutrition program, providing evidence-based nutrition services to Division I student-athletes across all sports. She also served as the department's Senior Woman Administrator, contributing to senior leadership initiatives and serving on multiple Big Sky Conference committees.
Prior to her time at Idaho, Hoffman worked as a sports dietitian with Power Portions, where she provided nutrition support to athletes ranging from high school to professional levels. She also served as a Clinical Dietitian and Foodservice Supervisor at Madison Regional Health System, providing medical nutrition therapy in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Hoffman is passionate about helping athletes unlock their full potential by using performance nutrition to fuel health, recovery, and peak performance.
