Carson Geis joined the St. Thomas athletics staff in October 2026 as the Assistant Director of Operations and Recreation.
Geis comes to St. Thomas from Union Omaha, where he served as Event Operations Manager, overseeing game-day operations for professional soccer matches, staff management, venue operations and guest services.
Prior to his time at Union Omaha, Geis served as an Events and Facilities Graduate Assistant at the University of South Dakota, where he coordinated home volleyball match operations, supervised event staff and assisted with athletic facility preparation. He also gained experience through internships with South Dakota and Creighton University, assisting with athletic events, facility operations and championship events, including the Summit League Volleyball Tournament.
Geis earned both his bachelor's and master's degrees in Sport Management from the University of South Dakota in 2025 and 2026, respectively.
