Alley Fleener joined St. Thomas Athletics in October 2026 as Assistant Director of Athletic Events and Operations.
Prior to joining the Tommies, Fleener served as an Event Planning and Management Assistant with Edinburgh USA in Brooklyn Park, coordinating private events, managing event staff and overseeing venue logistics. She also worked as an Event Operations Associate with Minnesota United FC, supporting MNUFC2 match day operations, coordinating visiting team and official logistics, and supervising stadium operations staff.
Fleener gained additional experience through internships with the Minnesota Twins and Purdue University Athletics. With the Twins, she supported operations for all 81 regular-season home games at Target Field and assisted with staffing, guest services and game-day preparation. At Purdue, she helped coordinate Division I athletic events, hosted visiting teams and officials, and managed event staff and volunteers for events with attendance ranging from 2,000 to more than 65,000.
Fleener earned a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology with a concentration in sports management from Purdue University in 2025. She is pursuing a Master of Arts in strategic leadership and business administration at North Central University, with expected graduation in May 2027.
