Alex Kline joined the St. Thomas men's golf coaching staff in January of 2022.
In Kline’s two seasons with the Tommies, the men’s golf team improved from its eighth-place conference finish in spring 2022 in year one of the D-I era, to sixth place in the Summit League Championships in spring 2023.
Kline most recently served as the head women's golf coach at Black Hills State in 2018 after a stint as assistant golf professional at Grand Canyon University.
Kline was a member of the Grand Canyon men's golf team from 2014-16 where he earned All-WAC honors. He was also a member of the South Dakota men's golf team from 2012-14, earning All-Summit League Second Team honors.
Kline graduated from Grand Canyon in 2016 with a bachelor's degree in communications.
