WHAT:
Open Skate and Open Stick & Puck at the Tommie Iceplex at Lee & Penny Anderson Arena!
*Skates are not available for rent, you must bring your own skates*

WHEN:
Wednesday May 6th, May 13th, and May 20th, 2026
Open Skate from 3-4pm
Open Stick & Puck from 4:15pm-5:15pm

PRICE:
Public - $10
UST Students & Faculty/Staff - $5 (must show UST Card)
St. Thomas Season Ticket Holders - $5 (must show email)
Payment will be upon arrival at the Tommie Iceplex pro shop. Only credit/debit cards will be accepted. Apple Pay, Cash, and Check are NOT ACCEPTED. 

KNOW BEFORE YOU GO:

All attendees must sign a waiver upon arrival. Waivers must be signed by the attendee or by a parent/legal guardian aged 18+ if the attendee is under the age of 18.
St. Thomas will NOT provide the following, so please bring your own or make arrangements ahead of your arrival:

  • Skate Rental
  • Skate Sharpening
  • Helmet/Equipment Rental
  • Assisted Skating Devices
  • Sticks
  • Pucks

PARKING:
The recommended parking facility is Anderson Parking Facility located on the corner of Cretin and Grand Ave. Please drop off at the Iceplex doors or if you will be parking, pay at the pay stations.
Enter through the Iceplex doors located inside of the Anderson Parking Facility.

RULES:
Open Skate:

  • All skating is at your own risk
  • No sticks, pucks, or balls allowed on the ice
  • Skate with the flow of other skaters
  • Do not stop in the path of other skaters
  • No food or drink on the ice (besides water)
  • Children (under the age of 12) must be supervised by an adult (18+)
  • Unsafe behavior may result in removal from Open Skate session

Stick and Puck:

  • All skating is at your own risk
  • Helmets and Gloves are required for all skaters
  • Do not stop in front of others skaters
  • No games or scrimmages are allowed during stick and puck
  • No food or drink on the ice (besides water)
  • Children (under the age of 12) must be supervised by an adult (18+)
  • Unsafe behavior may result in removal from Open Stick & Puck session
  • Pucks are not provided, so please bring your own pucks!
