NFC Tickets
Tommie Athletics is excited to introduce NFC tickets this season!
NFC Technology means that your tickets will no longer be a QR code that is scanned at the gate. Instead, once added to your wallet, you should see a hold near reader icon. To enter the game, you will simply tap your phone to the scanner to validate the ticket. This process is similar to Apple Pay or Tap to Pay credit cards - no more worrying about glare, brightness, or cracks in your phone screen! Because of this, please note that screenshots will no longer work. If you need to send a ticket to someone else, please use the official transfer process. You can find instructions at the bottom of this email.

How does NFC Technology affect adding my tickets to my Apple Wallet/Google Pay?
There are no changes to the process of adding your ticket to your wallet. The only change will be what you see when you add the ticket to your wallet. Look for a hold near reader icon, like shown below:
How do I scan my tickets if there is no barcode/QR code?
Your tickets will be validated via NFC. Simply hold your phone on the back of the scanner or on the top of the pedestal scanner. If you have multiple tickets, you will still need to swipe through them each. Our gate staff will be able to assist you with any questions.
How can I screenshot these tickets?
NFC Tickets cannot be screenshotted because there is no barcode. You MUST follow the official transfer process to send your tickets to someone else.
