Athletic Events & Operations Internship

The St. Thomas Athletic Events & Operations office is seeking student assistants to work as part of the athletic events & operations staff during the school year.

This job will be posted in Summer 2025.

ATHLETIC EVENTS & OPERATIONS INTERN
Athletic events & operations student assistants are the face of customer service for events and key members for ensuring we give the best game day experience. These student assistants serve as guest services members, game day staff, set-up/tear-down crew members, and other game-day related positions. Student assistants in this position will work in numerous roles throughout the year.

Responsibilities:
• Assist at football game days in our Guest Services tents
• Serve as customer service representatives and answer questions from fans
• Collaborate with our marketing department to coordinate on-field recognitions and experiences
• Tasked with things such as greeting fans and answering common questions
• Operate scoreboards, retrieve foul balls, and complete other duties needed for a successful game day experience
• Assist with facility needs such as court side seating and bench setups, table arrangements, and bike rack configurations

Requirements:
• Must be a current St. Thomas student
• Availability to work nights and weekends
• Good time management skills, responsible, reliable, independent workers, and quick-learners
