Equipment Student Worker / Manager
The St. Thomas Athletics Equipment office is seeking student workers to work as part of the equipment staff during the school year.

FOOTBALL STUDENT MANAGER
We are looking for dedicated students who want to gain valuable experience working with a 100+ member football team and staff. This job does not exceed 20 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
• Helping set up and run practice leading up to home games
• Potential opportunities to travel with the team
• Preparation for upcoming games
Requirements:
• Must be a current St. Thomas student, male and female students encouraged to apply
• Basic understanding of football
• Highly detailed and organized
• Highly motivated and willing to learn
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. and stay on your feet for extended periods of time
• Ability to work a portion of July, the entire month of August, and all games and practices according to assigned shift
Benefits:
• Paid ($15.00 per hour)
• Ability to network while gaining valuable experience in high pace, high pressure situations
HOCKEY STUDENT MANAGER
We are looking for dedicated students who want to gain valuable experience working with men's and women's hockey teams. This job will not exceed 20 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
• Helping set up and run practice and home games
• Laundry duties, skate maintenance and repair, and assisting visiting teams
• Preparation for upcoming games
Requirements:
• Must be a current St. Thomas student, male and female students encouraged to apply
• Basic understanding of hockey encouraged
• Highly detailed and organized
• Highly motivated and willing to learn
• Must be able to work nights/weekends and assigned practices/home events
• Must have reliable transportation to the Saint Thomas Ice Arena
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. and stay on your feet for extended periods of time
• Job does not exceed 20 hours per week

This job is open for all undergraduate students with the expected start date of Fall 2024. We are looking for dedicated students who want to gain valuable experience working with varsity athletic teams, coaches, and administration. This job does not exceed 20 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
• Inventory of new product
• Uniform distribution
• Event coverage
• Basic repair of pieces of equipment
Requirements:
• Must be a current St. Thomas student, male and female students encouraged to apply
• Highly detailed and organized
• Highly motivated and willing to learn
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. and stay on your feet for extended periods of time
• Able to work some nights and weekends depending on home contests
Benefits:
• Paid ($15.00 per hour)
• Ability to network while gaining valuable experience in high pace, high pressure situations
LAUNDRY ROOM STUDENT WORKER
The athletic laundry room student assistant is tailored to dedicated students who want to gain valuable experience working with varsity athletic programs.
Responsibilities:
• Washing, drying, and redistribution of practice gear, game uniform laundry, and equipment room assistance

• Must be a current St. Thomas student
• Highly detailed and organized
• Highly motivated and willing to learn
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. and stay on your feet for extended periods of time
• Job does not exceed 20 hours per week
