Tommie women's basketball announces summer camp dates

ST. PAUL, MINN. – After putting together the best Division I season in program history, St. Thomas women's basketball head coach Ruth Sinn announced the schedule for the 2024 summer basketball camps. The 2024 summer camp schedule includes an elite camp, day camp and overnight camp through the summer months of June, July and August.
The team will host the Elite Camp for high school girls grades 9-12 on June 13, officially opening the 2024 summer camp schedule. The cost for the Elite Camp is $100, which includes an on-campus lunch along with a camp t-shirt for all participants. Elite Camp focuses on the growth of development of each player's basketball skills, and campers will have an opportunity to apply those skills through a variety of competitions, including both 3v3 and 5v5 basketball games. Players will also have an opportunity to engage in discussion with head coach Ruth Sinn and her coaching staff at the conclusion of the day.
St. Thomas will also host the Overnight Camp June 16-19 for girls entering grades 5-9 from June 16-19. Cost for the Overnight Camp is $425 for residential campers and $345 for commuter campers. The camp will focus on the development of both team and individual skills through comprehensive training on and off the court. Residential campers will stay on campus in Dowling Hall and will be provided with three meals a day. Commuter campers are expected to arrive on campus by 8:30 a.m. every morning and lunch and dinner will be provided throughout camp.
In addition to the Elite and Overnight Camps, the Tommies will host multiple day camps throughout the summer months at a variety of campuses. The St. Thomas Day Camp will run from July 15-18 for players entering grades 5-9. Days Camps will also take place at Visitation High School (July 22-25) and Hill-Murray High School (July 29-August 1).
