Keegan James and Wes Lorrens selected to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District men’s soccer team

Tommies placed two student-athletes on the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Teams.
St. Paul, Minn. – The St. Thomas Men's Soccer team had two players named to the 2023 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team for Division I soccer.
Junior, Keegan James is a business major with who has earned a 3.68 cumulative GPA. The midfielder from Minneapolis has played in 43 games for the Tommies, starting in 21.
In his Tommie career, James has scored two goals and recorded two assists, including one game-winning goal. This season, James started and played in 13 games for the Purple, totaling 757 minutes. James scored two goals in the Tommies' final game against Western Illinois, earning the Summit League Forward of the Week honor.
Fifth year senior, Wes Lorrens is an exercise science major who has amassed a cumulative 3.72 GPA. The defender from Rome, Ga., played his freshman season at Virginia Military Institute before joining the Purple.
In his four years at St. Thomas, Lorrens played in 48 games, starting in 38. The defender scored three goals and tallied one assist, totaling seven points in his Tommie Career. Lorrens was also among 13 Summit League players named to the All-Academic Men's Soccer Team.
