Sioux Falls, S.D. -- Two Tommie athletes are among 11 selected for the 2022 Summit League Men's Soccer All-Newcomer Team.

Oliver Bieleveldt, a freshman midfielder from Amstelveen, Netherlands, and Jorge Pacheco, a freshman forward from Mexico City, Mexico, made the All-Newcomer list.

Bieleveldt started 16 of the Toms' 17 games and scored two goals, both by converting penalty kicks.

Pacheco started 15 games and played in 16. He recorded just one shot on goal but he converted that for an important first-half goal against Lindenwood in a 2-0 conference victory.

The pair were among five freshmen who played in nine or more games for the Purple, joining Carver Tierney, Gunnar Busch and Charlie Hoelscher. A sixth freshman, Tony Favorite, played in six games as a goalkeeper, including three starts.
